June has taken us all over the world and added many discoveries

The rest of the calendar summer will be super active, which is not the case in Mauritius, where I am writing this text from. In Mauritius, it's calendar winter now and it's often necessary to keep your windbreaker on, but that doesn't stop you from exploring the island. Curiously, it is only a two-hour flight from the Seychelles, where we come from, and it is summer there! An interesting world and an honor for me and my colleagues to explore it for the benefit of our club members.

As part of the #affluence_expedition in June, my colleagues and I were in Bodrum twice, including a review of our own expedition in May, in which we can confirm that Casa Noona is a worthwhile project, even if it is not in the TOP segment. Hyde in the peak season left a slightly different impression.

Athens has confirmed that there is still interest in the Grand Bretagne and that the new star everyone is talking about, The Dolly Hotel, justifies these reviews, as does its rooftop restaurant. There are nuances - they are, as always, available to club members.

Joining the Four Seasons on the Athens Riviera is One&Only Aesthesis, which has been attracting star guests from all over the world since the 1950s, where we've lived and are ready to tell you about.

Thirty minutes from the port of Athens on the One&Only Kea hotel's fantastic boat and we are on the island of Kea at the hotel of the same name, which opened on the 1st of June and has been under construction for eight years. This view is worth every penny (it is shown in the photo for this article).

In Istanbul, we checked in and stayed at The Bank Hotel.

Seychelles: Four Seasons Mahe, Mango House, Anantara Maia, the newest Waldorf Astoria Platte Island, Six Senses, both Constance Hotels, Raffles, La Cigale Estate.

Mauritius: Four Seasons, Lux Hotels, Anantara, both Constance hotels, JW Marriot.

We will be summarizing the month's impressions in a separate extended digest for June and July, to be published with or on the day before the August issue, and which will include the results of the July expedition in addition to the places and locations listed above: Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bali and Thailand. Separately, China, Hong Kong and another expedition to the Maldives will be added in August.
